Потрясающий финал WPSC13!

Marki:
Ни для кого не секрет, что главная сила Марки – это его скорость. К моему сожалению, она очень часто обеспечивается за счёт технически неправильно исполненных трюков: rdimmetos/dimettos (с помощью голени), sitting side vstall (с помощью голени), или упрощение уровня контроля с помощью footstall при различных threads. Помимо исполнения, поставить выше 4места Marki не получится из-за явной одноногости в сравнении с другими участниками. Быть двуногим фристайлером – это не про распределение разных трюков между ногами, это про умение делать одно и то же движение обеими ногами. Несмотря на “тренировочный” характер некоторых кадров, некоторые из них имеют четкую структуру и особенно хотелось бы отметить кадр на 2:42 – хорошая идея, жаль, что финальный roll снова упёрся в качество исполнения (хотя в общем и целом все rolls делаются неплохо). Хотелось бы ещё отметить, что в течение этого года очень заметен прогресс в контроле yosukestall левой. Так держать и надеюсь в следующем году мы увидим работу над ошибками.

FILIPPO
Мясной корсет из базы и собственная вселенная на основе toe stall. Потрясающий контроль и исполнение (хотя имеются вопросы к toeatw, например). Безумно нравится двуногость! Пара кадров очень выпадает из общего уровня видео: стильно и чисто, но слабовато для финала. Для второго и выше места не хватило наполненности собственной вселенной. Но это дело ближайшего времени, потому что на такой мощный каркас новинки будут наслаиваться одна за другой.

Pasha
Хотелось бы видеть чаще чем раз за турнир, когда Pasha снимает не только свои разминки, которые безусловно скилловые, но и специальные новинки. Круто вкачанные rolls, все фишаки с выбросом и поворотом на 360° кайфовые, за исключением того, где поймал будто неожиданно для себя. Финальный кадр – бэнгер. Исполнение кайф. Очень понравился freeze stacking . Смутило наличие у такого опытного бойца парочки тренировочных и нецелостных в силу незавершенности кадров и отсутствие двуногости в этом всем. Как я писал выше про неё, есть распределение трюков между ногами, но не хватает двуногости именно в самих трюках. Я, как любитель фристайла Pasha знаю, что он ей обладает, хоть и не раскрывает по ходу турнира, в котором есть сильные двуногоие бойцы.

MIGUEL
Без всяких сомнений Miguel – лучший мексиканский sitting фристайлер в истории и в этом турнире. Отличное исполнение, отличные структуры комбинаций, отличная настоящая двуногость. В отличие от Marki, у которого скорость в комбинациях обусловлена снижением качества контроля из-за неправильной упрощённой техники трюков, у Miguel все идеально. Четкие структуры, отличная завершенность кадров. Самое сильное видео финала и без каких-либо сомнений это однозначный победитель WPSC13.

It was a very hard and close decision!, every of you have your own freestyle, but after analizing carefully here is my decision.

4._Miguel: Uff! I really enjoyed the dynamism you gave to the transitions between dimettos and soles; absolutely amazing!, it was a little bit repetitive because you did not explore other subcategories of sitdowns, however I consider control and good execution for tricks of that great degree of difficulty were incredible.

3._Filippo: Perfect control and execution! I can see that you have mastered that toe stall very well and each one of the tricks and combinations that you did, I really liked the modern approach you gave to traditional sitdowns (that Kenneth Zelaya combo brought back good memories). I think you have to take more risks and try new things if you want to win this tournament. However I really enjoyed watching your video and every combo you did looked majestic! to the rhythm of the classical music that you put in the background.

2._Pasha: Bro!, I had to repeat each clip twice to understand what you were doing, just amazing!. If you had put in other subcategories of sitdowns including your own style without using soles too much, you probably would have won this tournament. However, I really liked the combinations and transitions you made!, also I saw many new original moves with a great level of difficulty. That´s why I think you deserve second place.

1._Marki: In my opinion in this tournament you were the one who most denoted your own style! A differentiating style from the rest of the competitors, which I consider to be a really important criterion that every freestyler must have. Your own tricks and your own dynamism when performing your combos without forgetting your speed and fluidity made me really enjoy watching your video and that´s the reason why I think you deserve first place in the WPSC13.

PashaFF:

I think out of everyone, Pasha was able to show the best balance between his variety of moves/styles within sits, while still maintaining the highest possible level of difficulty across all of the area’s he explored.
Pasha’s control was demonstrated throughout every single combo and move he performed. From his shin/leg rolls, to timing based moves where the ball leaves his body, to sole stall-based moves. Pasha’s control also extended past the ball and into his body awareness and his ability to move between different freezes and create unique body formations.
Pasha might be one of the only people who can actually flow pleasantly between different freezes and create a coherent, clean and stylish combo, and this is a real pleasure to watch.
Pasha’s overall difficulty and attention to detail is on par, if not greater, than his closest competitor for this area in the competition.

His difficulty can be seen in every single combo, but I’d like to point out in particular the following combo’s which are personal favorites; 2:24 & 1:37.
Lastly, one of his biggest strengths is his ability to constantly create fresh and interesting moves, combos and concepts. Throughout each round of the competition, Pasha showed the biggest “improvement” and the largest number of variations above everyone and he really is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with sitdowns.

Filippo Bassetti:

In my opinion Filippo showed the greatest technical ability in this edition of the competition. His ability to showcase full mastery over control, clever combo structuring and detail is second to none.
Filippo’s toe stall-based moves are extremely difficult. In addition to this, he flaunts his level by structuring entire combos around his toe stalls – landing into this stall from different heights, spins and revolutions, which is very impressive and difficult.
And if that wasn’t enough, he does almost everything equally on both feet… This ensures his combos are perfectly balanced and showcases his next level control and difficulty which sets him apart from his competitors.
My only small critique is that Filippo doesn’t venture out as far as the other competitors, when it comes to exploring different forms of sits. This is somewhat of a strength as he is able to achieve such a high level in his signature style.

However, in a competitive sense, it does also mean he lacks the amount of variety that can be seen in other videos.

Marki:

Marki’s strength comes mainly when looking at his speed and his ability to piece together long combos filled with a large variety of different moves.
Out of everyone in this round, I think Marki showcased the most variety when it came to showcasing different areas of sitting.
Although this does show his variety, it is also a double edged sword, as his overall level of difficulty in some of these areas wasn’t as high as those who focused on fewer areas of sits – For example Filippo’s video.

Regardless of this, Marki’s overall level was very high and the fact that he was able to perform everything so consistently and with such a fast pace really showed his control and confidence. His overall flow between all tricks was also very impressive as he flowed between a variety of different styles within a single combo.

MIGUEL:

During Miguel’s video, the stand-out factors for me were his use of both feet, his threaded sole combos and his style.
The ability to use both feet in his soles and dimetto combos was impressive and is very difficult. It also adds a great sense of balance to his combos which is a pleasure to see.
I loved Miguel’s threaded sole combos. These combos had a lot of texture, layering and complexity which is difficult to achieve and really makes these combos stand out from the other competitors.

Miguel’s two downfalls were his variety and his overall level of difficulty. Although he still performed well in these areas, when compared to the other competitors there was a clear difference. In terms of variety, there wasn’t too much variety in which moves he chose to build combos around; with most combos based on sole or dimetto moves. Also from round to round, the amount of variety in moves did not change as much as the others.
And as for difficulty, although still very difficult, some of the competitors were able to show a higher level of difficulty in the same areas.
